She looked at his schedule, seeing that second hour was the only time they didn't have class together. That was either going to be a very good thing or a very bad thing. On the upside, see got to stare at him most of the day everyday. On the downside, she would be staring at him most of the day. Hopefully she could force herself to pay attention.
"Well, look at that. Though, I'm fairly certian that your the one stuck with me."

"Seeing how I was here first, technically yes. You're my tag along. I'm ok worth this." He grinned at her. He knew the teacher was lecturing. It was probably about frogs. But he didn't care. He'd catch up later.

"Well, I'm glad you dun'nae mind. It'd be a bitch to get my schedule changed now."
She smiled at him, staring at his inviting lips. She wondered start it would be like to kiss them. So far it wasn't so bad here. No one was making fun of her for her accent, and there was a gorgeous not that seemed to want to talk to her and had even asked her on a date within the first hour of school.
Then she felt like someone was starring at her.

Kaleb looked at her with a puzzled look and then he realized the room was silent. He looked up at the front of the room at the teacher.
Shayne nodded. "I'm sorry. Did I interrupt your train of thought? Please continue." He waited for a minute. "Since you find my lecture boring enough to talk through perhaps you'd like a recap after school? No? Then I suggest you pay attention." He turned to the board and wrote 'No Flirting in Class" Then he turned back to the class. "Ladies and gentlemen please refrain from flirting in my class. You have lunch after this class and you can do that then. Now let's get back to our frog." He continued on with his lesson.

Shannon turned bright red and looked down at her paper. Great, the first day and she'd already caused a rule to be made. Ugh, she just couldn't keep herself from making an ass of herself in one way or another.

Kaleb couldn't help but smirk. They actually just got in trouble for flirting. He'd been in trouble for many things but not that. And they usually came with worse repercussions than a warning. She was good for him.
Shayne continued his lesson and then wrote the homework assignment on the board. "This is due tomorrow. Hopefully you all will be able to complete it with the information I have given you. You've got fifteen minutes to start it." He pointed at the board where his new rule was written and then pointedly looked at Kaleb and Shannon. He was being strict but deep down he thought it was funny.

Shannon blushed again and just started working on her homework. Luckily Sciences were her cup of tea. "Do ya usually smile so much when yer gettin poor unsuspecting girls in trouble on their first day?" She stuck her tongue out at him.

"Hey you were just as much a part of that conversation as I was. And you were flirting right back. You should be proud. We have a rule made after us. We're famous now." He smirked flipping open his workbook and filling in the answers quickly. He knew all this stuff already.

She just smirked and blushed slightly. "I s'pose it could be worse." She just worked on her homework until the bell rang.

Kaleb finished his work and then doodled around on his paper, his notebook, her homework, whatever he could get his pencil on. He thanked Gaia when the bell rang. He was starving. "So, what's for lunch?"

He slung his bag over his shoulder and walked her out. "It's not bad actually. But I typically go to Christie's. Its a little cheeseburger joint just down the street. Greasy and tasty. What do you think?"

"Sounds bloody brilliant. Mind if I hitch a ride with you?" She would happily spend as much time as she could with him. Better to do it now, before he decided that she was strange or annoying.

"Sure. This way to the trash mobile." He led her out to his beautiful burnt orange charger with black racing stripes.
