"Ow" Alli mouthed to Dash. The boy that had walked in was stunning, and she couldn't get over the color of his eyes. Her own bi-colored eyes sparkled at him. She had only ever met one other person with eyes like her's and she was sitting in this very room with her. Lydia and she had bonded over it when they were young, when it was uncool to be different.
Wren smiled sweetly at the handsome boy and Caden looked over the girls with a shy smile. This was going to be a lot different then they're quiet Vermont town. Wren was going to love it... And he was going to try to keep her out of trouble.

"So where did you guys come in from? We've all been here since we were little. Except for this one." Dash pointed his thumb at Kieran. "He's from Glasgow." He was paying more attention to Wren but he didn't exclude her brother from the conversation. He wasn't rude.
Ivan noticed that Anna hadn't responded to his email yet. He mentally connected with her, just a light touch, and realized she was in the middle of a dilemma. He very softly said, "If you need any help with anything let me know."

Again the twins answered in unison. "Morrisville, Vermont." Wren added, "We just moved in two weeks ago." She kept making eyes at the two boys.
"Sorry, I sent you an e-mail back, but I guess I didn't hit send. I'm in the middle of finding out why I have a young lady terrified in my teacher's lounge. I was not prepared for this." Anna responded to the old Carpathian.

"Well then you probably haven't had much time to explore. If you need any tips on the best places to hang out just let me know." Dash couldn't believe the words coming out of his mouth. He was on a roll. Normally when he meet new girls that were gorgeous like Wren he stumbled all over his mouth and usually firmly implanted his foot in it. Something about her though had him talking like the cool cat he wasn't.
Ivan stayed in Anna's head. "Really? Is she a new student? Because I don't know of any of the students we had last year acting like that."

"I will keep that in mind, cutie." Wren smiled. So far, so good. Caden just shook his head. Wren always had a way of wrapping everyone around her finger. Everyone loved her, she always got what she wanted. The benefit is as long as they wanted the same thing, it meant that he got what he wanted too. They were one hell of a team.
Alli couldn't believe that she was seeing, when had Dash learned to talk to a girl that wasn't her. There was actually a small twinge of jealousy in the back of her mind.
Sabine just used the new kids as a perfect distraction for her to stare at Mr. Kirowitz and not get caught. She still didn't know why she felt so drawn to her, he hadn't even spoke to her.
"Yes, her brother is Lance Stolyer. He's been a student. I recall coming across his name on the roster. The girl is a Sophomore. Apparently she has some kind of traumatic issue with men, especially large men. And there seems to be an abundance of them here."

Ivan sighed. "Yes, I know Lance and unfortunately there are. Like I said, if you need any help let me know. I'm going to get the freshmen started up." He cleared his throat and spoke out loud to the group. "Alright guys, we've still got a little time before class but I wanted to make sure you know where all your classes are. I know not all of you were here for the tour of the school. I have maps for you and I can number the classrooms for you so you can see the path to get from class to class if you'd like. I just need to see your schedule." His eyes surveyed the whole room and landed on every student but Sabine was last. His eyes nearly beckoned her to his desk. He wanted to smell her hair and her skin, maybe brush his hand against hers. He just needed her close to him.

Alli had been in sports most of her life, so she was overly knowledgeable about the layout of the school. Dash had been right there with get through most of it. "Thanks, I got this!
Sabine thought this was the prefect excuse for her to get closer to the handsome comforting man at the front of the classroom. She had memorized all of her classes right down to the number of turns between each class, but he didn't know that. She rose and walked to the front of the class with her schedule. "Um, Mr. Kirowitz, I'm not sure where I'm going."

He smiled up at her, thankful she had used his excuse to come see him. She was obviously feeling the attraction to him that he did to her. It wasn't sexual in nature, well maybe a little, but it was mostly just the need to be close to her. When he took her schedule so he could look at it, his thumb brushed over her fingers ever so lightly feeling her soft skin. He pulled a map from the stack and numbers the rooms in order for her. He noticed her locker number at the top of the sheet and smiled when he saw that it was close to his room. He thanked the fates. "If any of this is confusing, please feel free to stop by my room between classes and I can walk you to your next class until you get used to your schedule. The school is relatively easy to navigate but the glass walls get you sometimes." He looked up into her big blue eyes reveling in the fact that he could see them in perfect colored detail.

She gave him a shy smile. "Alright. Thank you, Sir." She watched him as he moved and as he spoke. She was trapped in his presence. She could smell him and the scent was pleasant and calming. Something about the closer she got to him the more she felt at ease, like everything would be alright. And that the horrors of home was only a distant memory, or a dream, not real at all. She was caught by his eyes and the mass of wavy sandy blonde hair that was pulled back behind his head. She'd never seen a man with hair like that before. She thought it would make one look silly or that all men with long hair looked like greasy hobos or something. But it seemed to compliment him. She started to wonder what it would look like loose around his face. She was so caught up in him that she almost didn't hear the Raven talking to her.

"You're welcome Sabine." Ivan couldn't stop saying her name. He loved the way it rolled off his tongue.
Just then Noemi rushed into class. "I didn't hear a bell. Am I late? My fucking douchebag of a brother wouldn't get out of bed to give me a ride." She was dressed in mostly leather looking like a biker bitch. Her attitude rang that way as well.
Ivan turned and arched a brow at the new girl that came in. "Language. And no you're not late. Do you know where all your classes are?" Or should I just direct you to the principal's office now, he wanted to add but didn't.
"I got it." She plopped down in a desk, ignoring everyone in there. She hated school, especially new schools. She didn't know why her father insisted on moving them constantly.

After the arrival of the brash girl in the front row Sabine was suddenly very glad she wasn't staying. Something about her made her nervous and really uncomfortable. But then, loud and abrasive people usually made her uncomfortable. She was fairly certain that the only reason that Alli didn't was because she had known her all her life. She took the map and her school schedule, accidentally grabbing Ivan's hand in the process, there was the wave of peace that spread over her when she did. She looked at him. "I'm sorry." Then she took her things and hurried out of the classroom.

Ivan wanted to stop her, to say something, to do something but he couldn't. Her touch alone fueled a fire that had ceased to burn for what seemed like forever ago. It was alright though. He'd see her later. He cleared his throat and stood, gathering papers. "For those of you who do not have my class first period I recommend you hightail it to your class."
Raven looked confused but grabbed her bag and hurried to catch up with Sabine.
