Alexandria had gotten her room all set up the week before and it has taken her all week. Inspirational art covered the walls from various different famous artists. A copy of her first award winning painting was framed behind her desk. It hadn't brought in as much money as her other paintings but it was her first and she was proud of it. There were only ten easels and stools in the entire room. She had requested a small amount of students for her classes stressing that they needed their space to create their creative bubble. She was so excited to see what they would create this year. She didn't have multiple classes with different levels because she didn't have a strict lesson plan. She was here to give the students inspiration and the tools they needed to express their soul on a piece of paper.
As the students started to flow in she smiled saying, "Pick the easel you feel the most inspiration around." She didn't care if they thought her a little weird. She believed in the healing power of art.
Jameson was the first to arrive, saying hello to the teacher before taking the easel in the very center of the second row of five. He dropped his bag to the floor and sat on his stool. There were no tools in the easels yet so he had no idea what they'd be working with. But the easel had a huge pad of paper on it.

Sabine walked into class and looked around the room in awe. She knew the painting that hung behind the teachers desk. She loved it, it was one of her favorites. She had always dreamed of getting to go to an art show. Her parents took her to the Nelson when she was young. It was probably the best memory she had. It was one of the last fun places they'd ever gone together. She had always dreamed of one day doing something that made enough of an impact that it would be hung in a place like that. She smiled at the pretty woman at the front of the room. She was as beautiful as the paintings she did. She took a seat in the front row along the far wall.
Wren and Caden walked in shortly after, she was almost skipping and they were babbling to each other in the same double talk they had been before. Caden was struck by the woman that stood before them. She was stunning, he was so focused on her he ran into the first easel, only barely catching it before it clamored to the floor. "Excuse me, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to." His deep voice rumbled. He had an incredibly deep voice for a boy his age. Wren had picked on him saying that by the time he was finished with puberty he was going to be talking from his feet. He decided to just sit there, straighting up the mess he'd made. Wren sat next to him, looking at him and trying to contain her laughter.

Alexandria smiled at the boy. She didn't know she had any seniors in this class. He was quite attractive and a little taller than her. She bet if she wore heels they'd be the same height. Why was she even thinking that about a student? "No problem. It seems the easel chose you. Have a seat." She was so distracted by him that when Lance came in he jumped the shit out of her.
"G'morning Miss Delanje. Sorry I scared you. Seems no one took my easel." He worked his way towards the back of the room to the very left. He placed his bag on the floor and turned the easel so that it faced the window but sat on his stool facing the front of the room.

"Apparently so." Caden just smiled at the beautiful woman. Something told him he was going to spend most of the year drawing her. Now, how did he do that without making it seem like he was a creepy stalker with an adolescent crush.

She nodded to Lance and walked over to her roster. She checked out the names and reddened slightly. The large boy was a freshman, a child. Oh Izzy was going to make so much fun of her. She steeled herself and turned towards the class with a smile. "Welcome ladies and gentlemen to my art class. My name is Alexandria Delanje. You can call me Alexandria or Alex. I'm a fan of both. You'll be happy to know that there is no homework in this class. All the work you will be doing will be in this classroom. There will be two major projects in this class, a mid term and a final. Since you are all on different levels of instruction, I will be basing your grade on your individual progress. I will be showing you how to use the different techniques of the different tools you will have available to you. Please no food in class. If you want a drink, make sure it has a cap. If you want hard candy or anything like that, it's fine. Just nothing that hinders your hands. So, without further ado, in an orderly fashion, please gather the tools you are comfortable with and make me a picture. All the tools are in the cabinets in the back of the room."

Sabine smiled and walked back to the cabinets and dug out a set of pastels, she knew that she would have pastels all over her hands and arms and probably her face for the rest of the day, she didn't care. She stared to sketch, a pair of Crystal blue eyes stared to emerge on the paper, there was movement in them, line you were waiting on them to blink. Stabs of sandy blonde hair framed them, but there still wasn't enough to give away who they belonged to.
Caden just pulled out his own set of graphite pencils and began to sketch. It was a woman in a long dress standing at the window of a castle, The moon light was shining through casting a long shadow on the floor. All done in black and grey.
Wren looked over at her brother seeing to work right away. He was the much better artist between them, sometimes she was jelous of his talent. She retrieved a set of water colors and stayed to paint a sunset over a green mountain side. A memory of home. It wasn't as detailed as Caden, but she looked watercolor, they were more forgiving and she was pleased with how things were turning out.

Lance stared out the window for a few long minutes. He needed to relax so he could just let go. He finally pulled out his own charcoal and began on the paper. What started to form was a large gray and black dragon, sinister in nature, hoarding its mass amounts of treasure.
Jameson went to the cabinet and picked out oil paints and a few brushes. He liked working with it because of the way it flowed. Once he got back to his easel, he blanked out. What appeared on the page as he worked was a large male demon standing over its minions.
Alexandria made her way around the room. She didn't distract them too much. In fact the only question she asked each of the students was why they picked the particular tool they did.

Caden smiled, I love pencil. Is what I usually use. I just like the way it turns out with different weights and harnesses."
Wren told her how watercolor spoke to her. She liked the fluid and flowing motion of it. How she could blend one color into another giving her a soft picture.
Sabine smiled. "I love pastels, they can give you hard crisp lines when you need it, but they are also smooth and creamy and blend wonderfully. Your first professional installation was all pastels, wasn't it?"

Alexandria smiled at the young girl. She was an award winning artist and she did run into her fans but not one so young. "Why yes it was. And I still favor it for the same reasons." She looked over what the girl had put on paper so far. "Those eyes. They're beautiful. What's your inspiration? Do you know the person that has them?" She wasn't trying to embarrass the girl but the warmth that had been put into the rendition showed the girl's love and compassion towards them.

She blushed and just smiled. "Um, I'm not sure, they just came to me."

Judging by the blush, Alexandria guessed she knew the eyes but she wouldn't pressure her. "Keep up the good work."
She walked over to Lance and talked with him a few minutes before heading over to Jameson. She took one look at his eyes and realized he wasn't home. She calmly walked to her desk and quickly wrote an email to the principal.
"911. There is a student in my class. Lights are on, nobody's home. Drawing a picture of a demon. Eyes are glazed. Courtney's brother."

Courtney walked through and took her brother out for some water leaving his painting there to dry. He was starting to show signs of his demon waking up already. She'd have to warn the principal what was going on.

The three freshmen just watched, they weren't sure what had happened. Caden was really impressed by what the boy had done. It was so amazingly detailed.
Wren thought it looked really cool. It looked like the front cover for a comic book or a video game.
Sabine looked at it and shivered. Something about it haunted her. At least she would be in her English class soon. And she could see those stunning blue eyes again. She hoped that he didn't have assigned seating, otherwise she would be all the way in the back.

Jameson never came back to the room before the bell rang. Lance looked at his drawing, happy with the progress he'd made over the summer.
Alexandria smiled. "Great work guys. I can't wait to see what you transform in to. Leave your work on your easels and I will take care of them. I'm building a folder for each of you that you'll be able to take home at the end of each quarter if you'd like. Enjoy the rest of your day." She Walked over to the siblings. "You've done really well. I hope I can help you branch out." She smiled and although she didn't mean it to be, it was mostly aimed at Caden. She then walked over to Sabine. "Beautiful work. I love it. I hope you find him."

Wren just smiled and skipped out of the door. "Thanks!" Caden looked down at her and gave her a handsome smile. "Thank you. I look forward to your class." The he ducked through the doorway to follow after his sister.
Sabine blushed, knowing that she was on her way to see him now. "Um.. Yeah, Me too. Thanks."
