Sabine couldn't help but feel like the teacher was passing a lot of attention to her. She liked it smile. It was warm and inviting.

A few other students stood and said their favorites and Ivan listened. Well he tried. Every few minutes he looked back to Sabine. Having her in class was going to be hazardous for him. But his migraine was gone and merely being in her presence had cured him.
Once the last student spoke, Ivan stood. "Alright class. Thank you for sharing. You've got about ten minutes until lunch so you may talk amongst yourselves. Please try to keep it to a tolerable volume. And make sure you come in tomorrow prepared to learn."

Most the the students talked amongst themselves. Alli turned to Dash, sliding a piece of paper in front of him. "Kyli likes you!"

Dash made a screwed up face. Kyli might be pretty but she was an airhead and superficial. He wrote back on the bottom of Alli's note. "Not interested." Raven wrote Sabine a note that said: "Stop eye-fucking the teacher! "

"I think she wants you to ask her to Homecomming." Alli wrote again. Something warmed her knowing that he wasn't interested in a girl like Kyli.
Sabine looked down at the paper that was placed in front of her and squeaked out loud. "What!?!" she covered her mouth with her hands looking around the room to see all eyes on her. Her whole body blushed. She grabbed the paper and quickly scribbled out what she had written and talked to her in rushed whispers. "I'm not!"

"That's nice. Not going to happen." Dash knew exactly who he was going to ask to Homecoming and it wasn't her.
Raven giggled at Sabine's squeak and whispered back. "You totally are. He's doing it right back. You can't look at him without blushing and he smiles every time he looks at you. Which it a lot might I add."

"He's just being nice. I'm a student and I'm a teacher. And I'm not blushing, it's just really warm in here. He's at least twice my age!" Raven was always good at calling her on her shit. She just really didn't know what was going on with Mr. Kirowitz, but she wasn't thinking anything dirty. She just knew that she kept feeling like she needed to talk to him. But she didn't have anything to say.

"It's not that warm but if you want to use that as an excuse, fine." Raven smirked.
Dash counted down the seconds until the bell. He was starving. "And go." The bell rang. He smiled proudly. "Shall we? Did you get a lunch menu for this place? I don't even know what they have for food here."

"I don't know I haven't checked. But I heard it was actually pretty good." Alli followed him out the door.
Sabine fell behind letting everyone else walk out in front of her. "Have a good afternoon, Mr. Kirowitz." She really wanted to just sit in his room all day. What did Raven mean by her 'eye-fucking' him. She didn't even know what that meant.

"You as well Sabine. Crude joke by the way. It made me chuckle but mad me sad at the same time. Wash was one of my favorite characters." Ivan smiled and stood, walking around his desk. He wanted to be closer to her.

Her eyes lit up. "You watched Firefly! He was mine too. Him and Kaylee. My parents and I used to watch it together. We still do sometimes. Browncoat for life!" She smiled. He was really tall and smelled like her grandmother's garden.

"Of course I watched it. Who wouldn't like cowboys in space?" He chuckled. "I was surprised to hear you reference it with you being so young. I'm glad though. Your parents have good taste. My favorites were Wash and Mal."

She gave him a smirk. "Let's be bad guys!"
He was so amazingly easy to talk to, she couldn't explain it. And really, she didn't care.

He smiled. That smirk of hers was going to get her in trouble when she got older. He could see a lot of fun nights with her. "Indeed. Well I don't want to keep you from lunch." Which was a blatant lie. He wanted her to stay right here with him and share his lunch.

"Oh right! I'm sorry. Well, I'll see you tomorrow"
She smiled, her cheeks flushing slightly. She hadn't even realized that the rest of the class was already long gone. She really wanted to just stay and talk to the handsome blonde teacher that clouded her reason. So, naturally, she left in a hurry.
