Karra walked out to the parking lot and over to her giant truck. She loved that truck almost more than she loved her horse. "Alright, now be careful. I just got the interior redone a couple weeks ago. Ya hurt it, I'll have ta kill ya."
She smirked as she climbed in.

Landread hopped in and looked around. "I suppose it's alright for a girl truck." He smirked and quickly buckled so she couldn't toss him out.

"You can walk, ya know?" She smirked as she backed out and pulled out of the parking lot.
"And she is a girl's truck. Better than your two foot express! When you gonna get a job and save up for a car of your own, anyhow? Or am I just suck cartin' your sorry ass around forever?"

"The idea is intriguing." He stroked his short goatee and smirked. "On a more serious note I guess I should start looking for a job since my band is literally going nowhere. It sucks. I thought we'd actually have a chance. There's always some fucking excuse as to why we can't practice or why gigs aren't being found."

"WHAT! You can't do that you are amazing! I say find new band mates and maybe get yerself a business savvy manager to find the gigs for ya! You can't quit, you are too damned good."
She had spent so many days and nights lay on his bed while he played his guitar and so much time listening to his band play in the garage. They were alright... But he was truly something special. He couldn't quit, she wouldn't let him.

He shrugged. "I don't really know anyone else that plays and you can't have a band with just a guitarist. I'm alright. Nowhere near any of the greats but I manage a rif or two. I'm not quitting completely. Just for now, until I graduate and get out there. Meet new people. My band sucks. I think that's why we're not getting any gigs. And in order to have a manager, you have to be able to pay them."

"I'm hearin a whole lot of belly achin'. Ya know that? I lot of I cain't. You are a god with a guitar. You just have to get yer self out there. And ya ain't gotta pay a manager that believes in ya!" She would forever be his cheerleader. He had always been hers.
She pulled into Christy's there didn't seem to be too many people there yet. I should be able to get it and out fairly quickly, which was good cause her big ass truck took up about a quarter of the parking lot.

He smiled at her. "Yeah yeah. I'll make it someday. Today is just not that day. I've got food on the brain! Where are we eating today?" He opened the door for her and let her walk in first. He rested his head on top of hers to look at the menu. "Tots or onion rings? Questions, questions."

"Onion rings are always the answer! And a tenderloin, jalapeno poppers and a strawberry shake! C'mon brokey, lunch is on me!" She walked up to the counter put in her order. "... and whatever he's havin'" She hip checked him.

"Uh, small onion ring, cheeseburger and small peanut butter malt, please." He hated feeling like he was mooching off her. He really did need to get a job if only so he could take her out to a nice dinner.

Karra scoffed at him. "He wants a regular ring, a double cheeseburger and a large malt. Come on now, I got it. I had a really profitable summer. And you are feeding me pizza tonight." She handed over her bank card. It was true, she'd don't great at her roping and racing competitions and she was working at her family's stables, she had the money to spend and she never minded spending it on him.
"You act like I don't know how much you eat, boy." She smiled and leaned her head on his shoulder.

He sighed and wrapped his arms around her waist loosely. "Yeah I'm feeding you pizza tonight but I wasn't going to buy it. I was going to make it. I'm going to start applying for jobs so I can make my own money so you can quit spending yours on me. Maybe you can help me look for jobs tonight after we finish our homework."

She just felt good in his arms, it was so safe and comfortable. "Oooh, I love it when you cook. And Sugar, I will never stop spending money on you. And I can help you with that." She heard their numbers be called.
"ooh, There's lunch. So, back to school and munch down on the tailgate?"

He smiled. "We might want to at least move the truck somewhere else so other people can get in passed the monster. But I don't want to go back to school yet." He grabbed their food and handed her the strawberry shake like it was the plague.

She just laughed. "We could go to the park? And be nice to my shake!" She kicked him in the butt before jumping in the truck.
