Raven was about to tell her where Talon had gone when Des showed up. After he left she shrugged. "I guess he needed to get himself together as well."
God how Seri loved Des. He knew exactly what she needed before she needed it. She gave him a quick kiss before he left for the bathroom again.
When Des walked into the bathroom he could hear a music video being played. Kyrian had showed him the Ten Second Song collection. Talon was less blue but still had the complexion of a corpse that had frozen to death. He gladly accepted the coffee. "Thanks. You guys are life savers. Have you seen these? How have I not seen these?" After a few more videos he was back to human color. He kept his normal height figuring he'd try it out on the group. Every human that had seen him before had already moved on by now.

"Seri showed me the Type O Negative one. The guy is pretty amazing, him. You lookin' a whole like better, you. How you feelin?" Des was horribly concerned for his friend, but he was keeping his emotions in check like he'd been learning how to do for Seri's sake. He wondered if Trolls were more sensitive than Pooka. He was going to have to talk to Alex when school started back up again.
Shannon smirked at Seri. "He brings ya coffee with out ya askin? You got him trained well, ya do. I think I need to take some pointers off you!" She hip checked Kaleb.

Talon put on his smile. "I'm good enough to rejoin the public. First thing I'm gonna do is walk up to Caden and call him short." He shut off his phone, chugged the rest of the coffee and led the way out. And he did exactly what he said, walked right up to Caden. "Shorty."
Seri giggled at Shannon. "Oh I didn't train him. He came that way. His mama taught him right."
Kaleb was going to have a smartass comment but as soon as she said that his mouth shut and he looked at the floor.

Caden was about to say something to the contrary and stopped when he saw the large blonde boy standing in front of him. What wss it about someone's height that could change their appearance. He just swallowed and gave a polite smile. "Alright, you've got be beat. Now maybe everyone will stare at you instead of me."
Shannon cringed inwardly, she knew his Mom was a sore spot so she just squeezed Kaleb around the middle. "Eh, I dun'nae need him trained. He's a good boy and I like him wild!"
Alli looked around the group, "I don't know about you guys... But I'm starving!!"

"Eh. They'll probably stare at us both now. You can expect a fifty percent drop." Talon grinned. He was becoming fast friends with the giant and his sister. He just couldn't ignore the draw he had towards them.
Kaleb stayed quiet and kissed Shannon's shoulder. His mother died a long time ago but he still missed her every day.
Dash chuckled at Alli. "You're always hungry. All right guys, do we want to eat here or elsewhere? I vote some sort of buffet just because we have a lot of big eaters worth us. Myself included."

Des thought for a second. "Well there's BD's across the street or Joy Wok isn't too far. But not all of us have cars of our own."
At that a voice cane from behind them. "Awe what the hell, we just got here now y'all leaving?" Karra laughed. "Sorry we're late, damned Gelding got out and we had to chase him down. Even Landread helped!"

"Yeah but I cheated according to her. I was just trying to spook it back towards the barn and the damn thing almost kicked me." Landread smirked.
Talon's eyes fell on yet another beautiful blonde. This one was clearly fallen though. She was gorgeous but her accent was atrocious.
Dash smiled at the couple. "Well we can eat here but it'll get expensive. Or we can all pile into vehicles and go to BDs and come right back. Hell some of us could probably walk it. And then we can come back here for dessert."

"Well, can ya blame him? Howdy y'all! And food sounds great. I've got a back seat and a truck bed. Bo's got a truck bed. Him and Naevia are right behind us. Ooh, there's new people! Hi new people, I'm Karra, this is Landread."
Alli smiled. "I will eat anything that doesn't eat me first... I'm down."
Sabine spoke up. "I'm not picky."
Shannon looked confused. "What's a BD's?"

"Hi. I'm Talon and this is Kyrian. We're brothers of Des from N'Orlens. And I second her question." He pointed at Shannon.
Seri spoke up. "BD's is a Mongolian barbecue. You choose your ingredients and sauce and they make it into a stir fry for you. And if you choose the all you can eat option you can have as many bowls as you want."

Everyone had a chuckle and then headed out to the vehicles. Between Karra's truck, Bo's truck and Shay's car everyone was able to get to the restaurant. The staff somewhat panicked semen the saw the large group come in but were very accommodating.
Talon and Kyrian challenged Des to a heat contest because it's what they do. Brighid was a little upset that Talon didn't sit next to her but she understood that he was Des' friend. She'd talk to him later. Shay however was happy she got to sit near him when he invited Caden and Wren to sit by him.

Everyone gathered around the tables. Des looked Talon and Kyrian over. "Oh... You're on! Bring on the heat!"
Shannon leaned over to Kaleb and Brighid.... "This isn't gonna end well."
Alli looked at Dash, "Don't you even think about it. I don't want to hear you whine when it has to come out one end or the other! And we share a bathroom!"

Kaleb chuckled. "I'm starting a pool on who starts crying first. Who wants in?"
Jameson laughed. "I'm totally in. Twenty bucks on the big one." He smirked at Talon.
"Traitor." Talon shook his head like he was disappointed.
"Ten on Kyrian." Seri smiled. "What? I can't bet on my man and Talon intimidates me."
"Ok fine. If you won't, I will. Twenty on the half breed." Kaleb smirked at Des. He honestly had nothing against the boy. He just liked teasing him.
