Talon tried to follow her line of sight but with so many around them he couldn't discern where she was looking. His eyes did fall on the Twins again though before he looked back at her. "Is there an inside joke I'm missing?"
Seri looked at Des. "You mean about Wren and Caden?"

"There are two gators right behind us. Well one and a soon to be one. I think..." She looked to Kaleb for confirmation.
"Anyway, one of them was checking you out earlier. I'll let you decide which." She smiled and bumped him with her hip.

Kaleb nodded in confirmation with a smirk at her comment.
Talon was now looking behind them. He could only imagine that she was talking about the siblings being Mokole. He caught Wren's eye and winked at her and then turned back around. "I can handle that."
Rune tilted his head at the interaction.

Shannon giggled. Wren looked around trying to figure out what just happened.
"I have zero idea what that was about." She looked up at Rune confused.
Shannon just laughed harder. "Oh, love. You have no idea."

Talon was confused again. "What? Don't tell me..." He looked at Caden this time. Then he noticed how he and Jameson were acting towards each other. He turned back around and simply said, "oh."
Brighid had a hard time stifling her giggles. "Don't worry. Those two are so faithful to each other is almost sickening."

Shannon collapsed on to her cousin in a fit of full bellied laugher.
She spoke in Gaelic between breaths. "His face was priceless!!!"
When looked even more confused. "I feel like we missed something."
Caden could see that the blonde was turning a little red. "There was a joke, I'm just not sure if it was at his expense or ours." He looked between his sister and Jameson and shrugged.

Brighid thought she was going to hyperventilate she was laughing so hard.
Talon sighed and spoke to them in Gaelic. "I can understand you. Excuse me." He felt horrible and this wasn't the first impression he wanted people to have of him. He walked up to the small group that looked confused. Smiling, he spoke softly. "Please forgive their laughter. It seems they like to tease new people. I have nothing against any of you. I was just caught off guard. I hope you will accept my apology."

Shannon tried to calm herself. "I wasn't trying ta hide from ya. Just my guest first language. I'm sorry." She looked sheepish.
Wren looked looked from Caden to Talon. "You're good. We literally have no idea why the giggles. So nothing to apologize about."
Caden just smiled and put his hand out to shake Talon's "What she said. It's all good man. No worries."

Talon took his hand and shook it, his smile growing larger. "Well hell, if I had known there were giants at the school I wouldn't have glamoured my height. Think I could get away with my true height at school?"
Brighid stopped laughing and pouted. "Did we piss him off?"
Kaleb shrugged. "If you did then he's not someone you want to be hanging out with."

"Depends, you taller than me?" Caden smirked at the guy. He flitted around like a Channeling. He wondered what kinds he was.
"Eh, you are pretty and you have Book a. I doubt you could piss him off. He said he grew up in Arcadia, that means he's some kinda fae. They are really distracted." Shannon worried that he was the same kind as Micah, Brighid didn't need to go through that again. Shannon would have to shank people if they kept hurting her baby cousin.

Talon chuckled. "Possibly. I'm about a foot taller than what I'm showing you right now." He felt so comfortable talking to them. He didn't know what it was with gators but he'd always felt at home with them.
Brighid shrugged. "Eh, it's not like I'm looking for anything serious anyway."

"That puts you right about my height, maybe an inch or two taller." He was looking the man over, originally he was just trying to judge the height, but he couldn't help taking the chance to check him out. It was a really good thing he was mated to a Demon, cause he was going to hell.
"Yeah, you should be fine. I'm the tallest student right now. And dad said I've still got a couple growth spurts to go. But, I'm not the tallest person that works for the school."

"That's pretty awesome. Yeah I've got a couple left as well but my da says it won't be more than another foot. So are you on the football team with Des?" He definitely looked the part and he was going to try out next year. It would be nice to have an ally.
Jameson let them have their talk. He wasn't jealous. Although Talon was even more beautiful close up it was very clear that he wasn't gay and he trusted Caden.

Wren laughed. "He's about as graceful as a moose on roller skates."
Caden nodded. "She's not wrong. He's the one with the talent. Could have been on the football team but got talked into being a yell leader to pick up chicks." He elbowed Jameson. He still found that really funny. And it was true. Micah convinced him to join him so that they could gimp their way through the cheerleaders!
