Cain perked up. He had been all over the world and like most of his people, had an affinity for languages. He smirked. "What language is she taking?"
Anna just laughed. "I'm leaving before I'm an accomplice! I love you both. Stay out of trouble!"

"Trouble? We'd never cause any trouble!" He laughed and waited for Anna to leave before turning back to Cain.
"She's taking Latin. She said she wants to further understand the language of doctors. She's studying to be a psychologist. So please be careful. She's already very good at what she does know."

"Latin I can handle. But shit, I don't need her psychoanalyzing me! But, yeah I can handle this. I learned Latin before I learned English!" The wheels in his head were spinning now. This could work. That little bouncy twerp had no chance! He couldn't believe that he was plotting to take a girl away from a teenage boy. This was so messed up! He missed the old days when younger girls hooking up with older men was normal!

"That's the spirit! Now get lost before my first class gets here." Terryn was pulling for him. Hopefully this experiment would start working on her.
Titi spent most of her day with Micah which was exactly how she liked it. Although fourth period was a separation. It was good though. She needed to get her head back on straight. He was too charming and handsome and she wanted to be his girlfriend so badly she could taste it. She smiled at him and gave him a wink before walking into Terryn's room. He always walked her to class. She sat in her normal seat and started working diligently. This was harder than she thought it was going to be.

Cain caught up with Shawn after he left Terryn's classroom. "Hey Man. Can I talk at you for I second? I didn't mean to freak you out back there. And I promise I wasn't hitting on you. No offence, you're not my.. um... type. You know what I am, right?"

Shawn raised an eyebrow. "Yeah I know what you are. I know what typically happens with them but things have gone funky recently. I'm glad you weren't hitting on me though. That means we can still be friends. So...what did happen?" He was a little concerned for the man worth it being his first day and he seemed like he was going to puke and die when they walked inside.

"I fairly old and while I never told anyone other than Terryn. I've been without color and emotions for about a century now. Give or take a bit. Anyway... Today in the hallway that changed. So all at once color, smell, hunger, emotion came flooding back at once. So, I'm sorry. The comment came from me seeing the color in your work for the first time. When I first saw it, it just looked like a blown out mess... I couldn't tell the depth of color to it." He just kind of word vomited at the Wolf. He couldn't help it. There was nothing that could quell his excitement right now.

"Gotcha. So you found your lifemate then? Awesome. Good for you!" He clapped the man on the shoulder. But when his mind went back to the event he remembered something. "Wait. When that happened we were surrounded by students. Oh shit! Is she a student? Dude! It sucks to be you!"

"Yeah, That part blows. But hell, I've waited this long what's a few more years. Now I just have to be the asshole that makes sure she doesn't get involved with any of these little punks, but I have to do it in a way that she doesn't realize that I'm doing it."
He just smirked. He had no problem keeping the teenagers away from his goddess. There was actually a part of him that was going to enjoy it.

Shawn chuckled. "Well at least you're remaining positive. That's the key. I'd as who it is but I want to watch this unfold. I think it'll be funny. Anyway, come on. I'll show you the rest of the school." As he led Cain around he paid close attention to the man. He was ever curious.
Terryn used their mental connection to tell Cain that when it was fourth period he needed to come back to his room and tell him that the principal needed to speak with him.

"Alright then." Cain walked around with Shawn, just observing the other students and staff. Nodding and smiling at Ivan and Shayne, until Terryn contacted him. "Hey man. I've got to split on ya. Terryn needs someone to cover his class while he goes and talks to someone in the office. I'll catch up with you as soon as he gets back." He kept cool and collected. But on the inside he was jumping for joy at the thought of actually getting to be around her.
He walked to Terryn's room and knocked on the doorframe as he walked in. "Hey T... Um, Mr. Savage. Ms. Tate needs to see you for a moment." He looked over at her, forcing himself to keep it brief. She was stunning. Total perfection in every way! His whole being called out for him to claim her right then and there, but he resisted.

Titi had been in work mode and didn't even realize anyone had walked in until she heard his voice. It was melodic and soothing. She peeked up at him and then quickly went back to work.
Terryn smiled at her reaction. She was the only student in the room this period as this was independent it was more like a study hall for her. "Thank you for letting me know." He walked up to her. "Titi? Sorry to bother you. This is Cain. He's going to stay in the room in case you have any questions."
She looked up at them both with a straight face. "I'm pretty sure I can handle this myself."
Terryn chuckled. "I'm sure you can. Even so the law states that there must be an adult in the classroom with students. I don't know how long this will take." He nodded to them both and left the room.
Titi looked at Cain. "Do you even know Latin?" She had her usually sass in her voice. She had to hold up her guard or she'd fall victim to the man's beauty.

"Da mi basia mille, deinde centum, dein mille altera, dein secunda centum." The words rolled off his tongue without a second though like he was born to that language. He didn't even realize what he had said until it was too late. Oh well. Either she won't know what he said or hopefully she won't instantly think he was a creep.

Titi tilted her head in thought. "Well its definitely Latin. I recognize the numbers. Hundred. Thousand. Translate it. Or write it down so I can look it up later." She really just wanted to know. Was there a 'give' in that phrase? Did he say he wanted her to give him something? But a hundred and a thousand what?

Inside it cringed. Shit he thought to himself. It's ok. He could make this one work. He smiled at her and wrote it down in her note book. He had amazingly good handwriting for a lefty. His mother has insisted on it. It had always looked like calligraphy.
"It's something my Mother used to tell my father all the time when I was young." He sat on the table in front of her. "I learned Latin before I leaned English, any other tests I need to pass for you?" He gave her a charming smile. She had a fire in her, he loved it already. She was bold and unafraid to speak her mind, so very much like his own mother. The thanked the fates for their goodness in giving him her. Now he just had to make her do the same.
