Ceridian waited at the bar drinking his tasty fruity drink. He found that if he walked in and ordered a Cosmo the women typically thought he was gay and they left him alone. For the most part. There were a few that dared to approach him. He did like the fact that with his brilliant dark blue hair and green eyes that had no visible pupil to them he didn't stick out like a sore thumb. Not with the changelings meandering about in their true form. He even wore his typical black silk shirt with dark brown leather trousers and bracers and it wasn't out of the norm. He could grow to like this place.
He was here on business though. He had seen that she would come tonight and she needed his help. The balance needed to be restored and although he couldn't give her much information, because that would be cheating on his behalf, he could give her hints. So he waited for the redhead to show with her friend. He didn't know her name or really anything about her other than she had adopted a God.

Anna arrived with Falcon and took him down to the bar area. She sure how she got elected to babysit him, but she agreed he needed to find his Lifemate, they couldn't afford to lose him, So, she wouldn't argue with it.
She ordered a glass of wine and walked to an empty booth on the edge of the room. She sat there shopping on her glass and contemplating the events of the last month. She felt like a failure. She couldn't keep her staff and students safe, she couldn't help the boys she'd taken in and she couldn't help her Lifemate. She'd had very little time alone with him and hell, most of the time he didn't even share her bed. She felt like every aspect of her life was totally out of her control. She wanted to scream or cry or run away.

He turned to the door as soon as she walked in, watched her until her friend found someone else to talk to. Now was his chance. As he walked over casually, gleening her thoughts as he did. Poor woman was at her wits end.
Once he reached the table he smiled at her. "Now now. Running away won't do anything and you know it. Sorry. You're thinking rather loudly tonight. Mind if I sit down?"

She looked up at the man with utter confusion.
"Excuse me, I'm sorry. Um, sure." He probably wasn't wrong. She extended her hand.
"Anna, nice to meet you...." She had never seen him before, and had never seen anyone like him before.

He took her hand in his, kissing the back of it as he sat down. "Pleasure to meet you Anna. You may call me Ceridian. Don't worry. I'm not here to hit on you. I don't want an angry lifemate after me."
He signaled for the waitress to bring him another drink and then turned back to Anna. "Now, you have a problem. I want to help but I need you to tell me about it. Tell me what you've tried."

She just blinked at him for a moment. Finally she found get her voice.
"Well, I'm afraid that you might have to be more specific. I've got a bunch of stuff going on. But, may I ask his you know all of this?" She wasn't used to people just walking up to her and offering to her help to insurmountable problems.

He smiled. "I'm called many things. A balance keeper. A watcher. An oracle. Take your pick. And the problem I was referring to was the one you were fretting about when I first came over. Keeping the people close to you safe."

"Ah well, I will take whatever aid I can get. From whomever you may be. May I buy you your next drink?"
She sat back and drank some more of her wine.

The waitress came by with a fresh cosmo for him, set it on the table and winked at him. He smiled at Anna. "They won't let me pay for my drinks." He took a sip from the decorative straw, a look of satisfaction coming over his face. "These things are delicious. Especially if you order them with cherry juice. I don't get out much. Anyway, back to you. Why don't you start from what you believe was the beginning." He leaned forward on his elbows intent on listening to everything.

She smiled at the odd man.
"Well, stage things have been happening since I first started at my new job. Horrible things happening to students and they're families. We kept switching places with people from another dimension. And now we've been put into horrible movie scenarios. Labyrinth, Malificent, Frozen, Nightmare on Elm Street and Hellraiser. My staff and students are endanger. I've had students kidnapped, tortured, almost frozen to death, terrified in thier sleep. I've had staff shifting out of fear. I've had students and staff mental and emotionally scared. I'm not sure if my history or art teacher will ever be alright again. I feel like a failure as an employer, an educator and so much more."

"That sounds horrible. I am so sorry. I assure you, they will eventually be alright. You haven't picked up on the root of the cause yet though. Until you do I'm afraid these things will keep happening. Try to remember what happened right before the truly strange things started occurring."
She was a smart woman and he had full faith that she could figure this out. All she had to do was to put her motherly instincts on hold.

She sat and thought and tried as hard as she could to remember. But after a hundred and fifty years, her memory wasn't as sharp as it once was.
"The only significant events I can think of are the arrivals of my sons and my assistant principal. Are you saying one of them had something to do with this?"
They had initially thought that Logan's father could have been helping with the switiches. And Rune continued to display more and more.... Unique abilities. But what could she do about that. She was told there was no one that could help him. Or maybe she was missing it completely.

Since her question was vague he could actually answer it. "Yes. You are on the right track. Now think about what is happening. Which one of them do you think could either have a hand in the situation or be the target? Just keep in mind, they may not know what's going on."

She starred into her glass, like somehow she would glean the answers from it's crimson ripples.
All these movies Rune had claimed to have seen before, our she had shown him. The others hadn't seen some and Damien was in heaven for some of it.
"But he question is, is someone targeting his imagination or is he inadvertently causing the troubles because of an over active imagination? And how do I approach that without making him hate himself? I just wish he had someone to talk to that could explain things to him."

He reached over and placed his hand on top of hers. "That's why I'm here. I can't train him but I can help. As for what's going on right now with the weird movie thing, find the right people to solve the issue. You did well on the last two, however before that, well let's just say his path has darkened."
