"We should have a party or something. You should throw us a welcoming party. Invite all your friends so we can meet them. Or you can just invite them all out to the mall and we can hang out there. Is it within walking distance?" Talon didn't have a vehicle and neither did Kyrian but everything back home was easy to get to on foot.

"Not exactly in walking distance. But, I have friends with cars. We could do mall and food and movie."
Des pulled out his phone thought about who to text. He started with Seri and the rest of James' house. Then Logan and Rune, Kaleb and the other cool guys from the football team. Told them to spread the word.

Word gets out to the whole football team, their significant others and friends. Even people that have nothing to do with the football team get invited, like Karra, Landread and Sabine.
Soon everyone from the core group is invited and heading out to the Oak Park Mall. Talon and Kyrian at amazed at the size of it. "Two floors! Holy shit!"

Des just laughed. "You act like you've never seen a mall before. So people are on their way, just don't be stupid. Someone can give us a ride home or we can call Dad back."
He smiled at him. It was going to be a good day. He was determined to make it such.

"Yeah Kyrian. Don't be stupid." Talon laughed when he got shoved.
Kaleb, Shannon and Brighid show up forest just because Kaleb loves having fun trying to scare the girls on the ice. It works on Brighid. She is even more pale when she gingerly steps out of his car.

Shannon got out shaking her head. "You're a year, you know that right? You're lucky she didn't heave in the back seat!" She laughed and punched his shoulder.
"So you said Des and his friend invited ya? Are we gonna be able ta understand 'em?"

Kaleb laughed, pulling her close to kiss her temple. "Not a damn clue. But then again, are they going to be able to understand you? It goes both ways love." As much as he'd tried not to, he has actually picked up a little of her accent from time to time.
He looked ahead and saw Des and two other guys horsing around on a patch of ice. He let out a screech of a whistle just to see their reactions.
Kyrian fell on his ass holding his ears and glaring in the direction of the whistle. But then his eyes caught sight of the redhead approaching and his brain forgot how to work.

"We're not the ones that talk funny. That's everyone else." Brighid giggled at the reaction the one boy had. He must be some kind of changing breed.
Kaleb laughed again as he approached the boys, his arm wrapped around Shannon's shoulders. "You know this and yet you still invited me. It's your own fault."

"Talon said he wanted to meet everyone. Everyone includes you, unfortunately." He smiled and bro hugged the other guy.
"Well, meet my brothers. This is Talon and Kyrian, they have moved up here and will be going to school with us, them."
"Guys, this is Kaleb, his lovely girl Shannon and her cousin, Brighid."

He returned Des' hug with a smirk. "Nice to meet you boys. You both going to be sophomores?" He shook each of their hands.
Talon nodded and shook his hand. "Yup. Don't let this one fool you. He's small but he's feisty." He kissed the back of both Shannon and Brighid's hands.
Kyrian kicked him but it had little reaction. There were females around. He shook all three hands.

Shannon smirked. "Ain't you a charmer?" She turned to Kyrian. "I never underestimate anyone. Pleasure ta meet ya both!"
They were good looking boys, and the blonde one was big for his age. She wondered what he was.

Kyrian had completely lost his voice so he just nodded. Talon smirked.
Kaleb shook his head. "Oh I hope you're not another Micah," He muttered under his breath. He stared Talon down for a minute before looking back at Des raising an eyebrow.
Mr. Winters dropped Sabine and Raven off at the front entrance letting them know to call him when they were ready to come home. He had also slipped a fair amount of money to Sabine telling her it was for her and Raven so they could have fun. Raven all but dragged Sabine out of the car. "Hey guys!"

"Nothing like!" Des answered a little too quickly. He didn't want his best friend compared to that horny goat.
Sabine walled up towards the boys, she didn't recognize Talon until she heard him speak. "Well well, aren't you a handsome thing on this side as well? Though, you may be a pale as I am!"
She knew enough about the other people standing around them to know that she could be a bit more free in her speech.

"Sabine?" Talon looked her over quickly but her smirk gave her away. He almost took a knee, actually going about halfway down before he realized where they were and who they were with. He straightened and cleared his throat. "Lovely to see you."
Kyrian snickered at him. Kaleb tilted his head like a confused dog. Raven came out and spoke. "What was that?" Making Talon turn a little pink.
