"I, well Gregori, took care of the issue. It's stopped. You're welcome." Terryn leaned back in his chair.
Titi jumped when Micah left so suddenly. He looked green. And them she heard it. She wasn't aware that Changlings could get sick. She tiptoed up to the door, not that he would actually hear her. She tapped on the door. "Micah? Are you alright? Can I get you anything?" She felt so horrible. Was it something she had done?

Cain got back into his Lifemate's mind and saw what was happening. He smiled at Terryn and the sky cleared and the wind stopped. "Thank you. That should put a permanent damper on things. I'm going to get another glass." He changed the broken glass with a wave of his hand.
Micah wanted to die or disappear when he heard Titi's voice on the other side of the door. Tears rolled down his face and his guts were still in knots. Last time he had gotten sick was when Amran tried to teach him a lesson on how to hold his liquor. Four or five bottles of Arcadian mead later.... But this was different, this was worse and at the worst possible moment.
"No, I'm not sure what happened. I'm so sorry." He spoke weakly. He didn't want to show his face to her, but he realized that he still had to take her home. Right now, death sounded like a valid option.

"I'm glad you feel better." Terryn watched as the clouds disappeared. "Gregori said that he'll feel horrible until a little while after she leaves so you'll still have to put up with him tomorrow at school. And, oh yeah, you owe him." Terryn chuckled. He didn't envy his friend.
Titi stood there with her hand against the door. She knew he was probably dying from embarrassment. She went to the kitchen and got him a tall glass of water. She couldn't find anything for stomach issues or anything else so she brought the glass to his room and then got dressed. Ahmed and her father would be pissed if they smelled her right now so she couldn't call either one of them for a ride home and Micah was in no continue to drive, so she fibbed. "Hey baby, I texted Ahmed to come get me. I'm so sorry you're sick. I brought some water in for you. It's on your night stand. I'm sorry if I caused this. Let me know how you're feeling later ok?" She had to leave then because she was damn near in tears. She grabbed her book bag and headed out. A good walk would do her some good. It was quite a ways but she'd walked further.

"Oh great. I owe him... That could mean anything. I'll get a mysterious message in a hundred years. 'It's time to pay your debt!'. Anyway, thank you. I really do appreciate it." He checked in on Titi again. She was on the move. Now was his chance to be in the right place at the right time. "Hey, I'm going to take a drive. You need anything?"
Micah just laid there on the floor. Absolutely humiliated. "It's not your fault. I'm so sorry. I'll call you later." He felt weak. "Please don't hate me." He mumbled softly, mostly to himself. Ahmed was going to kill him. She must stink of arousal and him. He would have to text Ahmed later as well and at least try to explain, or at least apologize. That's if he lived through whatever this was.

Terryn chuckled. "Nah I'm good. Go get her."
Titi had walked home before and nothing really scared her. She was a kitsune. Anyone who attacked her was stupid. Except vampires. That was the one thing that did scare her and it was already dark. Her father had said that this location had a minimal amount because of the pack here but they were still out there so it was time to put her game face on. She changed her facial expression and the way she walked. Her outward appearance screamed 'fuck with me and you'll be sorry'.

Cain hoped up and walked through the house grabbing the keys to his '76 Shelby Mustang and backed out of the driveway. He headed in her direction and smirked to make it look unintentional. He found her walking, looking pissed. Good. He drove past her, then stopped and backed up and rolled the window down.
"Nefertiti?"

Titi almost freaked out when she saw a car stop and back up towards her. She almost ran but that would just make them give chase. So she stood her ground, hands on her hips. Just as she was about to let the person hear her speech she had prepared for this particular incident she heard his voice. The voice that went right through her. God she hoped he couldn't scent what she had just been doing. She approached the car and leaned down into the window.
"Cain? What are you doing out here?"

"Was headed out for ice cream, I think I took a left when I should have taken a right. Need a ride somewhere? It's a bit cold to be walking."
He wanted to invite her for ice cream, but thought that might seem to creepy.

It was true, she hated the cold. And he was going out for ice cream? She smirked and shook her head. Though the heat emitting from his car was enticing and he did work at the school, could she trust him? She was apprehensive.
"I'm just headed home. It's not that far from here." She was a horrible liar but he didn't know her all that well so maybe he'd buy it.

"Come on, hop in. I promise you're safe with me. And I can see you shivering. If you get uncomfortable at anytime, I'll stop and you can get out. Deal?" He flashed get his winning smile. He knew she would eventually agree. But he needed her to think it was all her idea.

Titi sighed and giggled. "Ok fine. Twist my arm." She opened the door and sat down putting her book bag at her feet. She rubbed her hands together in front of the vent. "Much better. So on a night this cold you're going to get ice cream? You're crazy." She could go for some ice cream right about now. Anything to cool her hormones down.

"Guilty pleasure, what can I say? And I don't really get cold." He smiled at her, she really was beautiful. And she was meant for him.
"Would you like to join me?" It didn't hurt to offer, right?

"I shouldn't get cold but I do. My theory is that I'm so hot blooded that the cold affects me more." Did he actually just ask her to get ice cream with him? Might be a good idea. It would keep her away from the house longer so hopefully Micah's scent and what they did would be mostly clear before she went home. He seemed like a decent enough guy. And if he wasn't she'd have her brother eat him. "Sure why not? I could use some chocolate." She smiled back at him.

He laughed. "You might have a theory there. And we can do chocolate. Now, I'm not trusting Terryn's directions anymore, google maps, save me!"
He looked up Baskin Robbin's and headed that way.

Titi laughed. "You and Terryn seem to be pretty good buddies. How long have you known each other?" She decided to pick his brain. She was curious about what he was and who he was. She loved meeting new people to expand her knowledge base.
