"English and History will have to be with his grade level, Science and Math can be tested into or out of any particular level. If you choose a foreign language that can tested into. Any of the other electives will be determined by that individual instructor. P.E. and Health are a state requirement, at least one semester of each before you graduate. It's typically recommended to take it early to get it out of the way."
She lead them to where most of the elective classes were.

"Is there a school uniform for the gym class I need to purchase for him? And he won't be needing a foreign language class. He speaks five languages fluently." Christopher was proud of the lessons he had given his son.
Rune rolled his eyes, although no one could tell from behind the glasses. He never bragged about what he could do. Languages had come easily to him which was why he learned so many. Oh, yeah, and the fact that his father jammed the knowledge down his throat from the time he was born.

"No uniform. Just appropriate attire. Gym shorts or track pants, a t shirt and sneakers." She tried to remain as pleasant as possible. Rune seemed fine, Christopher was a bit overbearing, but nothing she wasn't equiped to handle.
"Over here is the Photography room. Ms. Cavaletti is the instructor. She is a professional photographer as well as having a teaching license. She also teaches a journalism class and has written and photographed several articles for local and international news and magazines." She didn't like to tout the achievements of her staff in such a way, to her it felt forced and tacky, but unfortunately, it seemed like that was the sort of information that impressed this man. All she needed to know and, frankly, cared about was that Izzy was damned good at her job, loved her students and they loved her back... that was all she could ever ask of any of her staff.

Rune was awestruck by the Bastet in the classroom. He'd never actually seen one before but knew they existed. She was beautiful. He was definitely taking photography if there was room for him. This school just got better and better. He hoped his father was impressed enough to enroll him. By the look on his face, he probably was.
"Very nice. It's always good to have teachers that actually use the subject they teach. First hand experience allows them to give the class a more personal feeling." Christopher was more than impressed by this woman's collection of teachers. He couldn't tell how Rune was taking all this but he was leaning towards trying it out at least.

Anna smiled at them both, she was getting a good feeling from Rune, I think he might be sold.
"Over this way we have our Computer Science class with James, he insists on being called by his first time. The students still seem to have a great amount of respect for him so I let him run his classroom as he sees fit. Over here we have our two language classes, just in cause you choose to add another to your list. Ms. Austin is in this room and Mr. Savage in this one. Between the two of them I believe there is at least fifty languages including at least three that are currently considered to be 'dead languages'."
She lead them on towards the arts and tech area.

Garou, Demon, Carpathian... Hardly any of the staff was human. The only problem now was that his father was a genius when it came to the law. Well with his help. Maybe if he wasn't on his side he wouldn't win this time. "I always wanted to learn Gaelic." His father had thought it a useless language so he didn't teach him. He also wanted to learn Mandarin. "Do they offer independent studies?"

She smiled at him. "They do, in fact Gaelic is a native language for myself and Mr. Savage, and both of us are happy to pass it on." The boy was starting grow on her.
She continued walking. "Down this way is the art room, Ms. Delanje is a prominent local artist in her spare time. Through that door is our Automotive Technology department, the instructors name is Mr. Montgomery." She continued to the gym doors.
"This is the gym, our P.E. and health teacher is Ms. Raines, she also coached most of our sports program. And down stairs and around the corner is our fine arts department; theatre, band and choir. Is there any other questions I can answer for you?"

Rune was excited about this school but he was careful not to show too much. He was afraid if he lost his meh attitude that his father would change his mind. Inside he was bouncing off the walls.
Christopher was careful to gauge his son's reaction to all of this. The school seemed secure enough. He hoped they had as good of a handle on things as they thought they did. Since no other school had responded to his email this was his only choice.
"Well it seems we have a winner. What forms do I need to fill out to enroll him? And do I have to call Shawnee Mission North to transfer his records or do you do that?"

"I have a few contact and health forms that need to be filled out. And if you live outside the district I have a charter notice for you and you will have to provide your own transportation. Sophomores are not able to drive themselves. We will contact his previous schools for his records and as long add there are no complications he can start classes on Wednesday."
There was something going on but she couldn't place what, and without knowing exactly who she was dealing with, she didn't dare try to enter thier minds, but her empathy was screaming warnings.

Rune's heart fell. He wouldn't be able to start until Wednesday. Which meant he still had two more nights with the monster. It was funny that he could think that knowing what was here and the fact that his father was a human but it was true.
"Great. Let's get the ball rolling shall we?" Christopher almost led the way back to the office but he figured it was her school so he followed her.

Anna felt a sudden change in the boy's mood. She was even more concerned, but worked to not show it.
Once they reached her office again. "I will call these in as soon as you leave, if I can get the information back from the other schools tonight I will let you know and I can get you in tomorrow." She smiled at Rune, hoping that it might raise his mood again.

The fact that the principal was willing to get him in as soon as possible made him happy but he didn't hold high hopes that the other school would comply quickly. "So should I pick out my classes today then just in case? Is there room in the photography class?" He didn't want to sound too excited but he was looking forward to showing the teacher what he could do with his camera.

"Absolutly, here is a class list. And I will check on Ms. Cavaletti's class. Also, Please put down what math and science class you would prefer to be in, remember that there will be an assessment that those teachers may give you to verify it as well as me needing to make sure that you have any necessary prereqs." She gave him a course book as well as a class request form. She handed his father the papers that he had to fill out. She would fax his previous schools as soon as they left and she would call them as well if needed. She was getting this boy into class tomorrow, even if it meant she had to fake some things.

While his father filled out the important stuff, Rune looked over the classes. He picked out the regular Sophomore classes for his core and then picked out photography, art and gym for electives. He picked out journalism as well just in case there wasn't enough room in either photography or art. Then he handed the paper to the principal with a slight smile because he knew his father wasn't looking at him.

Anna looked over the child's paper with a smile. She really hoped he would take off the sun glasses, she would love to see his eyes.
"Well, everything seems good here, I will do all I can to make sure that I get your records back as soon as possible. Do either of you have any other questions for me?"
